
BOAT PASS RULES 2005/2006
LAKE NARRACAN
In the interests of public safety a boat pass is required for all powered vessels on weekends and public holidays from 1 December 2005 to 31 March 2006 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Boat passes are not required at all other times.
A boat pass must be obtained before launching your vessel. Boat passes can be obtained from the kiosk at the Lake Narracan Caravan Park between 8am and 6pm. A maximum of 40 valid boat passes can be issued at any one time
Cost (including GST) for morning pass (8am to 1pm ) and afternoon pass (1pm to 6pm) is $10; all day pass is $15 and season pass is $150.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Operators of vessels without an appropriate Boat Pass may be subject to an infringement not exceeding $500 in accordance with Council Local Law No. 2 Section 185 (3)(e)&(f).
Contravention of Boat Regulations will result in the cancellation of Boat Pass without compensation.
Boat Passes are not transferable or refundable.
Boat Passes will only be issued to licensed Boat Operators.
Boat Passes will not be issued in advance.
